The challenge of dealing with a loved one that can no longer take care of themselves on their own is hard enough. The stress that comes with that situation is enough to deal with and we don’t want families to worry that they will incur additional expenses to an already expensive transition. We are able to provide our cost-free service to families to remove that stress by being compensated with a referral fee from the community you ultimately select.
We have a questionnaire that will help you evaluate the care needs of your loved one. You and one of our care specialists will go through those questions together and for your convenience, this can be done over the phone. You can expect this stage to take around 20-25 minutes.
Once you have completed that questionnaire, we identify what care you will need for your aging loved one. After we consider all of your feedback, we will provide you with two to three options that provide the necessary care and have earned our recommendation.
After providing you with our recommendations, we will walk through some of the questions you will want to ask during your community tours. These questions will help you identify the uniqueness around each care facility to make your decision easier. We want to help you make the very best choice first to avoid having to move a second time.
We can also provide resources that alleviate some of the stresses that come with moving into a care community. Senior Living Specialists can provide you with downsizing specialists, moving companies specific to seniors, and even recommend elder law attorneys if need be.
