The history of Senior Living Specialists in San Antonio started with the goal of helping people through our team’s experiences in finding the right care for their loved ones. Our goal was simple – lessen the stress and help families find a senior living community that meets their care needs.
We spoke to families throughout Texas that felt there were limited resources to help you find the right community. It seemed that the only options available were national senior placement companies that lacked the local knowledge of San Antonio or high-cost local professionals that charged hourly. We realized that the placement support options in San Antonio added to the stress and financial cost of finding the right care for a loved one.
Our team has a personal relationship with the senior communities and facilities across San Antonio. We visit all of these communities regularly to be the most up to date placement service in the metro area.
These regular visits allow us to give families the highest level of detail on their care, leadership, staff, and community activities.
We are in the business of helping people and believe the families we work with should know the leadership of Senior Living Specialists San Antonio. Rachel and Scot Farber’s desire to help families challenged with finding the right senior care community and Texas background set the foundation for Senior Living Specialists.
Both are native Texans with family roots going back generations tied to Houston and San Antonio. Together, they have built a beautiful family with three bright and outstanding sons. Scot and Rachel both enjoy western art, a good Netflix series, and cooking a meal to share with friends.
Our services are always free without obligation to all families and seniors. If you decide on one of our recommended care communities, we are paid a one-time referral fee by the community, after your loved one has moved into their new home.
It is this structure that allows us to provide our services at no cost to the families we service.
